Link your bank to Stripe for payouts
Assista uses Stripe so customers can pay you by card and the money lands in your bank automatically. You're the merchant of record — payments go straight to you, and Assista's small marketplace fee is taken out automatically. Setup takes about 10 minutes.

Start from your Payments tab
In your Assista maker dashboard, open the Payments tab and click Connect Stripe. This creates your Stripe account and links it to your storefront.

Secure your account
Stripe opens in a new tab. Enter your email and mobile number — Stripe texts you a code to protect the account.

Choose Individual / Sole proprietor
Most home makers pick Individual / Sole proprietor — you don't need an LLC to start. (You can switch to a company later if you form one.)

Verify your identity
Enter your legal name, date of birth, home address, and the last 4 of your SSN. Stripe uses this only to verify who you are (required by law) — it's never shown to customers.

Add your payout bank
Add the bank account where you want your money. Enter your routing and account numbers — or link a debit card, which unlocks faster (often instant) payouts.

Review and submit
Double-check your details and your bank info, then submit. Stripe usually verifies within minutes, sometimes up to a day.

You're connected
Back on Assista, your Payments tab shows Connected. You can now take card orders, and Stripe pays out to your bank on a rolling schedule (usually every 2 days).

Tips
- You're the merchant of record — customer payments go directly to your Stripe, and Assista's small marketplace fee is deducted automatically.
- Link a debit card during setup for faster, sometimes instant, payouts.
- Keep your bank details current — a wrong account number is the #1 cause of delayed payouts.
- First payout can take a few extra days while Stripe finishes verifying a new account; after that it's on the regular schedule.
